The 1st
INTERNATIONAL MAIL ART EXHIBITION at Galeri Seni, Faculty of Art & Design, MARA University of Technology, Shah
Alam (September - October 2006) is the first mail art exhibition held in Malaysia.

Naluri Seni and Invited Mail Artists with the involvement of 51 other countries like Italy, USA,
France, England, Australia, Japan, Nederland, Romania, Turkey, Uruguay and more. This has proven that the organizers of the
exhibition have worked hard to gather the involvement of many people and countries and to expose mail art to the public. Each mail

Kebun Mimpi Art Gallery KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
The 1st. International Mail Art Exhibition in Malaysia was exhibited at the Galeri Seni, Faculty of Art & Design, MARA
University of Technology, Shah Alam, Malaysia,
from September to October 2006 (http://imagmailart.tripod.com). The exhibition
was a joined organization between the I-MAG (International Mail Art Artists Group)
and the Faculty of Art & Design. Artists from 51 countries participated in
the exhibition and more than 100 guests attended the opening ceremony. This is an encouraging development of mail art in this
country since it was the first mail art exhibition in Malaysia. And
because of this, the exhibition extended for two months.
With the success from the first exhibition, we have moved
to a commercial gallery in Kuala Lumpur. The Kebun Mimpi Art Gallery is located in Bangsar, an art town of Kuala Lumpur.
We invited artists all over the world to contribute their
work in this exhibition called the 2st MoSA Collections Exhibition (http://mosacollections.tripod.com)
You can send up
to 8 artworks, on paper or canvas, sized A4 (21 x 30 cm) or A3 size (30
x 42 cm). There is no participation fee. ORIGINAL art works only. NO photocopy or computer prints..
We have frames ready for those sizes. Every artwork of those sizes will receive a certificate of appreciation from MoSA to
acknowledge your mail art is in our permanent collection.
However, you may also send in postcard sized artwork
for the exhibition. We can only accept 2D work and normal post .
Every participation, please include:-

Country, Title of work, Media, Year, E-mail address, Telephone no. (please state country area code)
